Artist Profile

Jenni McLaughlin is an Australian visual artist whose work fuses vintage illustration with surrealist symbolism, crafting a distinctive and evocative visual language. 

Since undertaking studies at Adelaide College of the Arts, she has exhibited her work internationally, with shows in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia, as well as Granada and Madrid, Spain . Her art has also been featured in large scale public art commissions in Adelaide, integrating her unique style into the urban landscape. 

Her artistic practice is deeply informed by esoteric traditions and symbolic systems, particularly the tarot. This culminated in her creation of The Falling Card Tarot, a complete 78 card hand  painted deck that reimagines archetypal imagery through a surreal and vintage aesthetic. The deck has been praised for its intricate symbolism and unique artistic voice, resonating with both art enthusiasts and practitioners of divination.

Beyond her visual art, she has over five years of experience teaching art to students worldwide.

This educational background informs her art, which often serves as a medium for storytelling and cross cultural communication.
